A loved one is visiting Pretoria, Africa on business and was asked to bring expensive gifts to the presidents. Is this normal? Can someone explain more of the cultural things my friend should be aware of when visiting Africa? Google’s not providing the best information.

I know that there are a lot of civil wars goin on in Africa, and it seems like the whole continent is pretty unsafe. Is there any particular country that hasnt been overtaken by corruption, that is safe enough for American tourists to go visit?

At my office, we have a number of African Americans who are always talking bad about white people. They want to move to Africa where everyone is like them. I wonder what they would think if they really traveled to Africa to move?

Would they feel more comfortable? Would their standard of living be higher because the white man was not holding them down? Or would they be a fish out of water?
