I’m going for a month or so to Europe this summer by myself… how hard is it to meet people backpacking through europe, staying in hostels? I’m an average outgoing guy and usually doesn’t have too much trouble meeting people - I would just like to be able to go to bars and clubs and such and don’t really want to do that by myself. Any suggestions on where to meet people? Thanks

I am a young lady intending to travel next year to Europe and go backpacking around Europe. I love to shop whenever I arrive at a new place & I just can’t help but buy. My friend and I want to spend a few weeks backpacking through Europe. Originally, we were going to go to several different countries (England, France, Germany, etc). But now people are telling us we should just focus our time in two or three countries. We’ve never been to Europe, so we’re pretty torn. Suggestions from anyone with personal experience?

Im going to go backpacking in Europe, and i was just wondering if a visa is really that necessary. I’ve heard that its common for people to be paid under the table. I’ll be going for a year, primarily in Ireland.
