I am currently in my last year at school and am planning on backpacking around as much of Europe as possible during 2010 with a mate.

I don’t want to miss out on seeing some great attractions so i am asking for your advice.

I will be backpacking for 2 months and visiting almost every country in europe, once city in each country and using a eurorail pass and staying in hostels, sleeping on trains at night to save money, eating in grocery stores, etc. I will be going alone and am a college graduate who is somewhat of a shy person. I am hoping to change that and become more social and outgoing……Is this a logical conclusion? What should i expect coming out of this trip????

So in just about a year I will be backpacking in Europe for about 5 weeks. I don’t want to plan too much, I’d like to fly by the seat of my pants, but I would like to have a broad idea of great cities to visit and things to do there. If you guys have any suggestions on cities and things to do, or even travel tips that you wish you had known I’d love to hear them!

i’m trying to save up enough money to go on a backpacking trip in summer of 09, which i know is far away. but im planning on financing the entire trip by myself so i’m saving right now. but i just need some help on planning my trip. like how can i find good hostels? where would i go? etc etc. i’m thinking about doing mostly central europe. any help is appreciated.

Also, what is a good duration for a backpacking trip in Europe, provided you wanna see a lot of countries and a lot of places? Would a month be enough?
