I’m going to be heading for Cape Town then travelling along the south coast a bit. Any places i must not miss, things i should do or places i should stay. Am going to be backpacking it and staying in hostels so any money saving tips would be appreciated to!

Is the money brought in cash or in credit card? but some rural countries might not accept it. Do you sleep in motel or tents? Do you eat cooked food or take away? Where can I find more info on backpacking?

I want to go to Bangkok, Pucket, Ko Saumi, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. Where would be best to start of, and what would be the best way to travel
