I was thinking about going to Europe during the summer and I was wondering what countries would be the best for me to visit. If you could give specific places in each country so that I have a better idea of what to see when I’m there.

I travel quite a bit, Africa is a Continent I have always wanted to visit. South Africa is more to my liking, but just like the United States, I would like to travel all over the country visiting the people, learning their culture, and language. I have visited Europe, and have enjoyed the many pleasant people, and their way of life. My next trip is to Ireland, and then hopefully to South Africa. Learning about other people and the way they live, love, and create is of much value to me as a human being. I have sommething to share, and I need to learn all I can about the Countries I visit. Knowing more about the Human Race, helps me to be a more compassionate person, and open to different things.

I would like to visit Africa, but I hear so much about conflict that is currently going on that I am hesitant. Which countries are NOT safe right now? Are there any sites that can help me with this?

Starting from Bangkok, Thailand as a base. Have you been there? What did you like about it?
Some other info, especially for the Dr from India - I am a single woman (Grandma) travelling alone. I have some concerns about places that it would not be safe for me to travel. Thanks so much for your help.

This winter I will be traveling in Morocco and Egypt….I want to go a little more off the beaten path in but also be safe…any recommendations for an additional 4-5 day Northern african trip?
