If you were spending 2 months in Asia what countries would you visit?

Starting from Bangkok, Thailand as a base. Have you been there? What did you like about it?
Some other info, especially for the Dr from India – I am a single woman (Grandma) travelling alone. I have some concerns about places that it would not be safe for me to travel. Thanks so much for your help.
