do i have to reapply for a new visa? my visa expires in november….do i lose all dat money i spent on da visa coz i want to go and visit family in south africa in the beginning of june?

For those of us who want the “cool” of a backpack trip but realize the dangers of it! Are there work, charity or teacher programs that offer lodging to students who want to travel to europe and maybe make a little money to pay their way through? What is a good way to meet people for exchanges or friends to stay with without those costly agencies?

Like what do people usually do while backpacking? Are there certain part-time jobs that are common?

And how do people afford to travel around the world without beind millionaires? Besides travelling cheap, I’m sure there has to be an income.

I hear from people that go who don’t want to return is this true? I have always wanted to go but just don’t have the money now. Are there any less expensive ways to go?

Has anyone ever been a travel agent or known a travel agent that made alot of money or that owned any kind of travel business and was successful? I would like to know what kind of license I need in order to be a legitimate travel agent. I am based in New York. Is there are school I need to go to or training online. What company should I affiliate myself with? Any travel agents, please give me the low down. Thanks.
