I am planning to visit Africa the end of July, 08 or first week of August, 08. any suggestions for cheap flight? two-way flight, about 15 days stay.

I am going to Toronto in August and by the end of August we are going to NewYork. My bro research the cheapest travel but there was no luck. The travel is expensive, if i spend hundreds of dollars of that, I can’t spend so much in NewYork. (Sadly)
Any suggestions by train,bus, or airplane? By anything?
