I was wondering if anyone knew how many tourists from the uk visit south-east asia or had any tips as to where i can get this information for free?

I am planning on backpacking around Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and the Philippines in mid april this year i just wanted to know if thats enough money to do a fair amount of activties without having to worry constantly. Also what i can do to keep the costs down, other than budgeting and stay in cheap accom etc.

If I have 1 week to visit.

I visited SE Asia last September (Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Philippines). I’m planning to explore more of SE Asia on my vacation leave next month. For western standards, Singapore is still quite a bit pricey while the Philippines is a lot more affordable (beware of some taxi cabs in the Philippines - big rip offs) compared to Hong Kong and Sinagpore.
Any suggestions? Thailand (Bangkok / Phuket)? Indonesia (Jacarta / Balli) ?
