I need advise about how to travel between countries, prices, ferries, and specially how to get to japan from china, cause everywhere i look is too expensive… thanks !

I will be in Thailand for work and have 1 week free for vacation. I am happy to fly to another nearby country that is not too expensive to get to. Please could you advise an interesting place to visit where the weather will be tolerable in August. I am completely unfamiliar with Asia other than Thailand.

Of course I can’t go everywhere. Was thinking of the Philippines or traveling to Thailand and then traveling to Vietnam. Or is another trip better?

I am just interested in traveling and have no interest to stay in a resort and pay $100 per night.
